Steps of Refr Gas R290 Refilling

Some end clients receives an air/geothermal/water/ground source water heating cooling thermal pump shipping by air, who is requested to release the refrigerant gas before exiting factory for the shipment, who would face refrigerant gas recharging. Now hereby a solution for charging refrigerant gas before heater pump water geyser boiler and gather wording and video after the wordings for following:

Considering R290 refrigerant gas is PROPANE, during the whole process of charging, ensure no open flame or any source of ignition.

PROHIBITED to perform these operations on personnel without relevant professional certificates. The steps are for reference only.

1. Well connect heat pump device and refrigerant tank via vacuuming machine,

1) ensure vacuuming machine is working regularly before the installation connecting;

2) make sure enough refrigerant gas in the tank for charging;

3) ensure the pipes of vacuuming machine well connected the pin valve in heat pump for refrigerant gas charging sealed;

4) prepare an electric scale for weight how much refrigerant gas has been charged.

2. Vacuuming

1) Start vacuuming by turning up the valve on refrigerant gas tank.

2) Switch on the blue valve by the side of the blue gauge to start vacuuming all remained gas and air in gas system of all in one air/geothermal (ground or water) source thermal pump water heater/chiller to empty the air and gas to ensure the purity and enough gas volume for regular heat pump operation. You’ll feel the air blowing from the port.

3) Bottom up refrigerant gas tank on scale for weighting targeting gas refrigerant volume charging 360g marked in product nameplate attached on the shell of All in One heat pump water heater, while increase charging rate and preventing refrigerant backflow under the action of gravity.

4) Press the whistle and it will whistle when it’s draining the air and gas remained the system and pipes of heat pump water heater. (WARMLY TIPS: please do keep vacuuming for at least 20 minutes.)

3. Refrigerant refilling

1) Turn on the red valve by the side of RED GAUGE to start refrigerant gas charging gradually and the pin in pointer in RED Gauge indicates the change. When charging the data value in the electronic scale gradually getting closed to targeting value, 150g for Top SCOP 75Dg Domestic Hot Water Heating r290 all in one heat pump water heater with 200L enameled inner water tank.

2) When it is closed to requested charging refrigerant gas volume, 150g, slowly turn down the valve. (WARMLY TIPS: It’s fine that charge a little more than required refrigerant gas volume, 150g, for R290 200L All In One heat pump water boiler geyser with enameled inner pressured hot water tank.

3) After the refrigerant gas charging on 200L Enameled Cylinder Water Tank R290 Air Energy to Water Heating Thermal Pump Water Heater Geyser Boiler, please do handle the ending properly to avoid environment pollution during the charging.
